Check out this adorable fishing themed photo shoot. Khaidyn, Grady and Eastyn had fun playing with the homemade fishing game their mom, Stefanie, made for them. Stefanie is a very creative and crafty lady. I always look forward to taking photos of her family as we are sure to incorporate fun props and her boys are so darn cute! During the photo shoot, Khaidyn made sure I knew that he caught two REAL fish during the family's recent camping trip, but his dad didn't catch any! Maybe next time, dad.
Thank you for the great shoot Wakefield family. I look forward to the next one!
This July I had an amazing experience. I photographed a Canadian Citizenship ceremony held at the Government House in Regina. I was honored to capture this compelling and emotional event and I'm so excited for Canada's newest citizens. The ceremony started with speeches from dignitaries, acknowledgment of Treaty 4 and 6 territory, and a round table discussion where new citizens shared their experience in Canada so far. The second half of the ceremony included speeches, an oath, singing the national anthem, and receiving a certificate from the attending justice. A small reception followed. I am so glad I was able to observe and photograph such an important event. Congratulations to all of Canada's newest citizens!
On a pleasant day in June, Lacey and Nick said their vows at the Westminster church in front of their closest friends and family. We had a great afternoon taking photos around Wascana Lake and finished off our afternoon on top of Douglas Park Hill, one of Lacey's favorite spots in the city. Although we needed to use our umbrellas at our first location, the rain seemed to hold up until we were ready to head to the Conexus Art Center for dinner and reception. Thanks, mother nature!
Congratulations Lacey and Nick. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
Look at these beautiful people! Alex and Lindsay get an A+ for their top notch outfit coordination. I think we can all agree that these three look lovely, but Lindsay looks simply gorgeous. I'm thrilled for the arrival of their second baby boy, Rhett. I'm a bit behind on blogging, so although Lindsay is still pregnant in these photos, Rhett arrived the first week of July. I'm looking forward to meeting him soon! From the photos Lindsay has shared with me so far, Rhett is every bit as cute as Edwin. I bet these guys are going to keep mom and dad on their toes. I'm glad we were able to sneak in a photo shoot of these three before Rhett made his arrival. Congratulations Alex, Lindsay, and Edwin. I'm looking forward to meeting Rhett really soon! :)
This May I had the pleasure of visiting Casey at her parents home at Echo Lake. What a gorgeous place to take photos! So much greenery. I'm so glad to have taken photos of the Peart/Pielak family for several years now. I love watching my friend's family grow and change. We were lucky to have grandma and grandpa's help to get the best smiles from Ruby and Hazel. Thanks so much Peart/Pielak clan. Have a fantastic summer!
