Look at these beautiful people! Alex and Lindsay get an A+ for their top notch outfit coordination. I think we can all agree that these three look lovely, but Lindsay looks simply gorgeous. I'm thrilled for the arrival of their second baby boy, Rhett. I'm a bit behind on blogging, so although Lindsay is still pregnant in these photos, Rhett arrived the first week of July. I'm looking forward to meeting him soon! From the photos Lindsay has shared with me so far, Rhett is every bit as cute as Edwin. I bet these guys are going to keep mom and dad on their toes. I'm glad we were able to sneak in a photo shoot of these three before Rhett made his arrival. Congratulations Alex, Lindsay, and Edwin. I'm looking forward to meeting Rhett really soon! :)
This January I had the pleasure of meeting the newest member of this family, sweet baby Molly. Newborns typically require some behind the scenes soothing before we get them settled in the posing basket. Molly, however, snuggled right up with mom and dad and didn't make a peep when we changed her outfit and posed her. I can honestly say this is the fist time I've photographed a newborn who didn't cry once. 2017, you're already full of surprises. I like it. I'd like to thank you guys for a fantastic photo shoot. I hope you have a wonderful year.
I am so excited for my friends, Lindsay and Alex. They are expecting the newest member of the family, who is currently only known as "Rotini", to arrive around February 20th. I met Lindsay through Roller Derby. During our photoshoot, Lindsay confessed how much she has missed playing and can't wait to get back on her skates once baby arrives. Good thing PBDC makes onesies because little Rotini is going to have a busy summer cheering for mom at her derby bouts. Lindsay and Alex also have two adorable Beagles who seem to be excited to be big sisters very soon. I am very excited for baby to arrive. Congratulations Lindsay and Alex! You guys are going to be wonderful parents.
In January of 2015, I started a 52 Week Photo Challenge. It was meant to be a playful way to document a very pivotal year in my life. I think it's really cool to see everything laid out this way. This was definitely the hardest year of my life with my dad passing in September, but I'm very glad I did this project because it reminds me of all the awesome people in my life who's love and support has helped me through it all.
Last week I had the pleasure of meeting adorable baby Maverick. He was a wee bit over due (can you blame him? It's February, no one wants to go outside!). I'm sure Chantel and Andrew are thrilled to finally have this cutie pie home and in their arms. He was quite alert and curious for most of his shoot. I have a feeling this one is going to skip the crawling stage and go right on to walking. We managed to get him settled down for some sleeping poses. He was even calm enough for some "hunting" poses, which made dad pretty excited. Congratulations Chantel and Andrew!
