This September, Ashley and Curtis shared their wedding vows during an intimate ceremony in front of family and friends at Truly Unique Country Weddings. These lucky folks are one of the last couples to be married at this fantastic venue. Truly Unique have now retired from the wedding business after many years of hard work and wonderful service. I'm sure TUCW is happy to end their career with such a fantastic couple!
Ashley and Curtis really are fantastic to work with. These two are so relaxed. It must be from all the fresh air they get, hiking and canoeing with their pup Jake. Jake the dog served as an honorary groomsman and he even walked down the aisle with Curtis. He is, after all, an important member of the family!
On this beautiful September morning, Ashley and the bridesmaids started their day at Blush Beauty Bar where the crew did a fantastic job applying makeup to these already beautiful ladies. We then headed over to Ashley's home for snacks, hair, and final touches. Ashley is a very creative lady, which I'm sure serves her well in her Esthetics career. On this special day, she put her creativity to use, preparing a stylish and tasty brunch of appetizers and a DIY mimosa bar. Ashley's gorgeous sense of style was also apparent at the reception that she decorated in her signature chic fashion.
While the girls prepared for the day, Curtis and the groomsmen had a relaxing morning getting ready at his groomsman's house. As typical of most wedding days, the guys had a lot more time to visit and relax before getting into their suits.
In the mid-afternoon, we gathered just outside Regina at Truly Unique Country Weddings. Under the warm afternoon sun, Curtis and Ashley shared their vows in a simple and heartfelt ceremony. Following the ceremony we explored the grounds of TUCW for formal photos. We made sure to include some photos of the couple's canoe to celebrate their passion for adventure and each other. All in all, it was a perfect wedding day. We had great weather, great locations, and an amazing bride and groom. Everyone was smiling as the afternoon turned to evening.
After formal photos, Ashley and Curtis invited their guest to join them for the reception in the tent where they shared a great meal, music, and lots of dancing. Congratulations Ashley and Curtis! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
Stef and Todd decided to make their love offical this July with an adorable retro inspired wedding. Stefanie had her hair styled at Studio 13 Salon and her makeup was done at Blush Beauty Bar. Stef put many hours of work into folding paper cranes to use in her bouquet, boutonnieres, and decor as a way to pay homage to her Japanese heritage. It turned out amazing and worked so well with her retro style outfit. These two love birds said their "I do's" infront of family and friends at a small ceremony in Lakewood Park in Regina. Formal photos were taken at Lumsden Museum and the reception that followed was held at the Lumden Centennial Hall. Congratulations Todd and Stef!
Rhegan & Eli said their vows on a lovely September afternoon. The girls started their morning at Zazu Salon and Blush Beauty Bar. The guys got ready at Rhegan and Eli's home. The Ceremony was held at New Hope Lutheran Church followed by family photos in Rhegan's parent's gorgeous backyard. We had some fun taking formal photos at Darke Hall and the RCMP Heritage Museum. The reception was also held at the Heritage Museum. Congratulations Rhegan and Eli!
On August 16, 2014, Megan and Stephen tied the knot. It was grey and rainy while Megan had her makeup done at Blush Beauty Bar. The skies finally started to clear by mid afternoon, just in time for a beautiful ceremony at Kiwanis Park. After some family photos we headed to Wascana Park and Darke Hall for formal photos. The fun continued at the reception which was held at the Italian Club. Congratulations Megan and Stephen!
