Melissa and Curits invited us out to the Grainger family farm for their engagement photo session. We were lucky to have great weather and an awesome location! The "Big Day" is happening February 2016. I'm very much looking forward to seeing these cuties all dressed up for their wedding. Congratulations Melissa and Curits!
This December I met up with my friends Jordan and Rena on Rena's family farm for their engagement photo shoot. Choosing a location is one of the most important parts of a photo shoot. Rena and Jordan are outdoorsy and enjoy hunting, so using her farm was an obvious choice. We had a fun few hours playing on hay bales, walking the gorgeous trails in the falling snow, and hanging out with the cows. Rena has several cows that run around like playful puppies; they were awfully curious about what we were doing, but didn't seem to mind the company at all! I am very much looking forward to their wedding in Melville this July. Congratulations Jordan and Rena!
I spent a beautiful fall afternoon with Lacey and her family at the Vernon church near Mclean, SK. I love taking photos of old buildings so it was a real treat to hear a little bit about the church. It's very old - like over 100 years old- and it's not exactly modernized, but that definitely adds to it's charm. They only hold services about once a month in summer, and wintertimes it is rarely used because heating it is quite a job. It takes 2 days for the wood stove to get the place warm and ready for Christmas service!
Lacey's daughter was baptized at the church so it was a gorgeous and centimental location for her maternity photo shoot. They were a beautiful kind family and I am excited to meet their newest addtiton some time soon. Congratlutaions Lacey and family.
