On a pleasant day in June, Lacey and Nick said their vows at the Westminster church in front of their closest friends and family. We had a great afternoon taking photos around Wascana Lake and finished off our afternoon on top of Douglas Park Hill, one of Lacey's favorite spots in the city. Although we needed to use our umbrellas at our first location, the rain seemed to hold up until we were ready to head to the Conexus Art Center for dinner and reception. Thanks, mother nature!
Congratulations Lacey and Nick. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
Look at these beautiful people! Alex and Lindsay get an A+ for their top notch outfit coordination. I think we can all agree that these three look lovely, but Lindsay looks simply gorgeous. I'm thrilled for the arrival of their second baby boy, Rhett. I'm a bit behind on blogging, so although Lindsay is still pregnant in these photos, Rhett arrived the first week of July. I'm looking forward to meeting him soon! From the photos Lindsay has shared with me so far, Rhett is every bit as cute as Edwin. I bet these guys are going to keep mom and dad on their toes. I'm glad we were able to sneak in a photo shoot of these three before Rhett made his arrival. Congratulations Alex, Lindsay, and Edwin. I'm looking forward to meeting Rhett really soon! :)
If anyone can speak to the excitement of being recently engaged, it's Angela. This smart and talented lady helps couples make their dream weddings come true through her business, Imagine Events. Now it's Angela's turn to plan her own wedding and I think it's safe to say she will create a truly awesome event to honour the love she and Jonathan share for each other.
It makes me so happy to see the loving and playful connection Angela and Jonathan share. They are down to earth, fun loving, just plain good people that are perfect for each other. I know they will have lots of love and laughter to forever look forward to.
Congratulations you two! I Can't wait for 2018!
P.S Even though Angela is working hard on her own wedding, she can still help you with your wedding. Check out her website Imagine Events.
Now that Christmas is over I can finally post some Mead family photos. These guys decided to surprise their mom with some framed photos of themselves. I'm pretty sure any mom would love to receive photos as a gift. Something to keep in mind for next Christmas! Thanks for the fun shoot Mead Family (and girlfriends)!
In January of 2015, I started a 52 Week Photo Challenge. It was meant to be a playful way to document a very pivotal year in my life. I think it's really cool to see everything laid out this way. This was definitely the hardest year of my life with my dad passing in September, but I'm very glad I did this project because it reminds me of all the awesome people in my life who's love and support has helped me through it all.
