This spring we met up with the Ruecker family for a fun photo session at Kiwanis park. I am so pleased to call the Rueckers our friends. Kyle and Courtenay are warm, generous, funny people and they've passed all these traits on to their amazing children. These folks are expecting an addition to the family this spring. We are so thrilled for their happy news and can't wait to meet the new little one. Congratulations Ruecker family!
This January I had the pleasure of meeting the newest member of this family, sweet baby Molly. Newborns typically require some behind the scenes soothing before we get them settled in the posing basket. Molly, however, snuggled right up with mom and dad and didn't make a peep when we changed her outfit and posed her. I can honestly say this is the fist time I've photographed a newborn who didn't cry once. 2017, you're already full of surprises. I like it. I'd like to thank you guys for a fantastic photo shoot. I hope you have a wonderful year.
I had the pleasure of photographing the Burns family on one of the warmest days this January. To the delight of their furry family members, we took a stroll around a park just outside Regina. As you can tell from their heartfelt smiles, these guys are right at home in nature. Melissa and Jason confessed they have not had portraits taken since their wedding, but figured it was about time to get some done again. I couldn't agree more. I think it's important to take a moment from our busy schedules to reflect and appreciate the awesome folks in our lives. Having family portraits is a permanent reminder of how lucky we are. Thanks for the awesome photoshoot, Melissa, and Jason!
This fall I had the pleasure of capturing some beautiful moments for the Cohen Family. Their little guys were full of smiles and giggles and they certainly kept me on my toes. Thank you for the great shoot, Cohen family! I hope we can do it again next year.
While the leaves were in their full autumn glory, Allysia and Michael drove in from Weyburn for their engagement photos session. We toured around Wascana Park before stopping off at O'Hanlon's Pub. As you can see from the drumsticks and microphone, these two are music lovers. Their band, The Criminal Kid, used to play at O'Hanlon's, so it seemed like a natural spot to take some photos and have a pint. Clearly their chemistry on stage spills over into their everyday life. Their love for each other is genuine and so sweet, and they are truly naturals in front of the camera. I am really looking forward to their wedding in May. Congratulations Allysia and Michael!
